Grand River Ironsands Incorporated (GRI) was established in 2007 as a private company based in Nova Scotia, with its main asset being minerals sands in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, Canada.

GRI also owns the rights for establishing North America's first dedicated merchant pig iron plant.  Production is planned to commence in early 2020. 

 

GRI's largest shareholder, Metalo Manufacturing Inc. (MMI) (www.metalo.ca), is listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE:MMI) and is also one of the 65 companies included in the CSE Composite Index.

1) Constructing a planned US$400 million merchant pig iron plant to supply foundries and steel mills

2) Assessing the minerals sands in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, Canada which are rich in iron ore, feldspar, garnet, zircon and silica quartz.
